This is it! This is everything I’ve got. lol, all my skills on photoshop CS2. This is the ‘ project’ I’ve been working on around late March-completed today July 15 2009.

First of all I like to say sorry to :iconzwindial: cause I lied to her when I asked what was her computer resolution for a study my sister was doing. So yeh…my sister isn’t studying computer screens and how gender and setting play a role on the size. That was fake >< my bad…

This is for :iconzwindial: because she is the most loveliest, kindest, and caring person I’ve met on DA. She helped me out in my most difficult times and cheered me up. So this is for her. Thank you so much for everything. I love Zwindial a lot, I just wanna hug him or cuddle him really tightly and fall asleep. A very awesome character :iconzwindial: has created.

Oh yeh, I did this WITHOUT a tablet, WHAT NOW?! My pet mouse did all the work yay! (using control + Z every 3 seconds haha)

The biggest challenge of this drawing would be the wing holding out to the flower. You have no idea how long I was stuck on it. I think around 2-3 weeks I kept on trying and trying and I finally got it YEAH! Background was the second biggest challenge cause this was my first background from scratch and I didn’t know how to draw a forest ground.

Tutorials I used were meh and didn’t become helpful.

So yeah, I wont be drawing for a long time now, cause I have colleges to apply as well as school, and my life to live on. This is my greatest drawing yet, I gave it my all and I love it a lot.
Now that i finished this...i feel... a little empty... i dont know why...

Oh my goodness Scatterwing! That's beautiful! An absolutely amazing picture :wow: I'm actually stunned on how wonderful this is, I'm speechless...
... let me regain myself :D...
The forest is gorgeous. That's quite a first background you've done. So much effort, and spectacular mix of colours. I especially love the trees, they're my favourite part. The mood behind the light shining through, with the rest being quite dark makes me love it more :love: I'll say it again, the forest is beautiful.
And then, when I saw Zwindial... wow, WOW! He looks so fluffy, and you've made his feathers so shiny :star: Using all the tones of blue. His figure is marvelous, and that right wing shows the angle perfectly. How he strokes the flower, showing how he loves nature. I saw your sketches, hehe that's professional showing all the previous attempts. Well done ^^

Btw, don't worry about the little lie. No harm done at all, and did it for good reasons :tighthug: Thank you so much <3

I love the lighting and the texture in this! The trees are what caught my eye when I looked at it closer, but everything in it has nice texture
